![]() If you use your PC as a media center on top of just as a server I would recommend it all the way for all the new features it has and the quality of life fixes it makes. But that seems to have been fixed in the release build. I did for the longest time have an absolutely maddening issue where my frame rate in steam VR would tank if steam wasn't the active window. ![]() There is a persistent problem with it forgetting your speaker settings if you use multiple sound devices but windows 10 was way worse at it so it gets a pass. I also was never able to reproduce any of them either. I will say it was always when I was trying to run a mod or something else inherently unstable, it never crashed on its own while idle. Then again I remember the Vista beta so I'm not a fair judge for how many fatal errors is to many. Stability wise I've had a couple green screens during the beta but nothing to sound the alarm about. (Retro games I'm 4KHDR is never not cool) As the owner of a brand new OLED TV I very much enjoy the overhaul that's been given to HDR. ![]() As far as Win 11 itself, I've had it for almost 2 months now and I'm not really that blown away. Runs just as well as it ever did on windows 10.
